Well I drove down Friday night… arrived around 10:30
Woke up drove to the course
The course was mostly little hills not too tough kinda flat
There was about a 10Mph wind and the liquid manure trucks were plentifully
We started off with a neutral start and I was talking to this guy Carlos who was from Columbia (really nice guy)
Carlos and I started the race off pretty fast and everyone basically stayed a group the first two laps….
I thought this was kinda boring so I attacked Just as lap 3 came around…. I was reeled in about half a lap later and I grabbed a wheel
As we were making our 5th lap I thought we still had 1 more lap to go so I stayed back in the group to conserve for an attack…
Little did i know that it was the last lap and everyone started to pick up the pace…
We were going down a hill and I was stuck in a group and I couldn’t go anywhere (I was pissed)
I tried to make a move at the corner but a guy cut me off and I almost crashed
So I decided to try to get them on the sprint
There was a field of 54 and I was in 30ish when we started to make the turn for the finish line..
I sprinted as hard as I could and managed to get 16th
My buddy Carlos Crossed the finish line and crashed and they took him to the hospital (He looked like he’ll be fine) He still managed to get 24th =p

All and all I think I could have done much better but I learned a lot during this race….

P.S. Both Andys had a hell of a race!! Both their races had a group that broke away of about 7 riders and stayed that way for the remainder of the race. Sadly they were not in the break away group but finished very well within the group they were with. I think Andy R got 9th place and Andy M. got around 12th.
